The KERN MPS personal scale is a medical device that meets the requirements of the European Directive 93/42/EEC. This scale falls under Class III calibration, where calibration is optional. The compact design and excellent price-performance ratio make this series ideal for examination rooms in medical practices and hospitals.

The scale features an ergonomic display unit with large keys and a clear LCD screen, making it easy to input and read patient values, such as height for calculating BMI. The steel weighing platform is stable and has a non-slip, durable surface. Additionally, the scale is easy to clean and maintain hygienically.

To ensure a safe and stable setup, the height-adjustable rubber feet prevent slipping. There is also a level indicator to ensure the scale is positioned evenly. The scale includes a dynamic weighing function, which is ideal for restless patients, ensuring a stable weight result.

The hold function ensures that in the case of restless patients, a stable weight value is determined by averaging and 'frozen', allowing enough time to attend to the patient before reading the weight at rest. Operating the scale is intuitive through the keypad.

The scale has a PRE-TARE function that can store up to 5 weights. It also includes a BMI function to determine underweight, normal weight, and overweight. The scale can operate on both batteries and mains power. A wall mount for the display unit is included for wall installation.

Note: Calibration is mandatory when used for commercial purposes.
